The Rules For Summer and Changes in the Fall

Do you know what your obligations as a REP are in working with residential customers during the summer months? Do you know how to screen customers in the fall?

Now that we’ve entered the heat of the summer months in Texas, consumers electricity bills will begin to increase, sometimes drastically. Unfortunately, for some of the customers, they will not be able to keep up with their electric bill.

This half-day seminar will cover the various regulations that come into play when dealing with residential customers who express an inability to pay their electric bill. It will also conclude with an overview of key legislative changes that will take effect September 1, 2005 that will effect overall customer credit risk.

The new legislation related to the use of credit scores and what it means for both collections, product offers, and providing service to new customers.
